Terms of Service

Plain-English terms for this website and for our appliance repair service in Green Bay and Brown County. Last updated October 13, 2026.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) cover your use of this website and the appliance repair service we provide in Green Bay and Brown County, Wisconsin. By booking a repair, calling us or using this site, you agree to them. We've kept the language plain on purpose.

1. Who we are and what we repair

Appliance Repair Green Bay (“we”, “us”) is the trade name of the company that provides the repair services described on this site.

We repair residential household appliances: refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges and microwaves. On request, we may also help with standalone ice makers, wine coolers and garbage disposals. Call to confirm. We don't repair air conditioners or lawn equipment.

We may decline a job that is unsafe, not cost-effective or outside our scope, and we'll tell you why.

2. We're independent of manufacturers

We're an independent repair company. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by any appliance manufacturer, and brand names belong to their owners. We don't perform manufacturer warranty repairs. If your appliance is under the manufacturer's warranty, contact the manufacturer first, since they may cover the repair.

3. Booking and scheduling

  • We give you an arrival window of about two hours.
  • Same-day visits are often available when you call before 2 PM. They're not guaranteed, because the day's route decides.
  • Traffic, weather and earlier jobs can cause delays. If we're running late, we'll contact you as soon as we can.
  • Please give us accurate access details, such as the address, gate codes and pets.
  • Someone aged 18 or older needs to be home during the visit.

4. Diagnostic fee, price and payment

  • Our diagnostic fee is $75. It covers the visit and the testing needed to find what failed. If you go ahead with the repair, the fee is credited toward the repair. If you decline, the fee is still due.
  • After diagnosis, we give you one price for parts and labor before any work starts. Nothing is repaired until you say yes.
  • If we find another problem during the repair, we stop and ask before going further.
  • If a part has to be ordered, we tell you the timeline and any deposit before we order it.
  • Payment is due when the work is done, unless we agree otherwise. We'll tell you which payment methods we accept when you book.
  • Typical price ranges on this website are guides, not quotes.

5. Warranty

Repairs carry a 90-day parts and labor warranty on the specific repair we performed. The terms are on your invoice or work order. It doesn't cover:

  • New or unrelated problems.
  • Damage from misuse, improper installation by others, power surges or lack of maintenance.
  • Normal wear and tear.

If a covered problem comes back within the warranty period, contact us and we'll make it right.

6. Cancellations, rescheduling and missed visits

Plans change, so please give us as much notice as you can. If nobody is available to let us in, or we can't safely reach the appliance, we may need to reschedule and may charge the diagnostic fee. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may mean prepayment for future bookings. We'll tell you about any such charge when you book.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Give us a safe, reasonably clear space around the appliance.
  • Secure pets during the visit.
  • Take food and fragile items out of the appliance if we ask.
  • Tell us about known issues, such as earlier repairs, water damage or electrical problems.
  • Pay as agreed.

If the appliance can't be reached or the space isn't safe, we may need to reschedule.

8. Safety

  • We're not an emergency service. For fire, injury or a gas leak, call 911.
  • If you smell gas, leave the house and call your gas utility or 911 first. Then call us.
  • We may stop work and reschedule if we find something unsafe, such as a suspected gas leak or exposed wiring.

9. Limitation of liability

We take care in your home and with your appliances. To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service.
  • We're not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, such as food spoilage, lost time or secondary water damage, unless Wisconsin law requires otherwise.
  • We're not liable for pre-existing conditions, manufacturer defects, or problems that arise after we leave if they are unrelated to our work.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under Wisconsin or federal law that can't be waived.

10. Using this website

  • This site is for information and for requesting service. Our repair guides and price ranges are general information, not professional advice or a quote. Follow your appliance's manual, and when in doubt, unplug it and call.
  • Please don't misuse the site: no scraping, hacking attempts, spam or illegal activity.
  • The content on this site belongs to us and may not be copied without permission.

11. Privacy and communications

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information. We use your details to schedule, provide and follow up on service, and we don't sell them. By sending a form or calling us, you agree that we may contact you about your request.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Brown County, Wisconsin. If something goes wrong, please contact us first. We'd like the chance to fix it.
